The Delta Companies - Accounting Manager

Position Description

  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and various analysis worksheets
  • Month-end closing process including journal entries, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis
  • Application of cash receipts (in A/R and G/L)
  • Posting and booking customer invoices (in A/R and G/L)
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and entries
  • Prepare payroll, including calculating commissions to be processed through outside
    payroll service
  • Ad Hoc projects

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2-6 years with standard GAAP concepts, practices, and procedures associated with accounting and financial reporting
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Team player with the interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
  • High energy
  • Quick Books experience a plus
